As part of our commitment to you, we offer Free local delivery and installation plus we can deliver anywhere in the UK for a nominal charge. And what’s more, we can even take away your old piece of furniture that is being replaced!* We’ve also teamed up with a trusted distributor for nationwide deliveries and pre-agreed excellent rates for you to benefit from.
All deliveries in the Northwest are made using our own fleet of vehicles which are custom designed to transport your furniture without risk or damage; your furniture items are always carried in protective coverings to keep them in perfect condition. Local delivery to FY postcodes is FREE and nominal charge for homes outside of this area but within the Northwest region.
It’s not always easy to give you an exact time slot, some deliveries and installations do take a little longer than expected; We will do what we can to fit in with your busy schedule and for a small fee can even arrange a weekend delivery slot with our Premier delivery service.
There are times when we do have to employ the services of a reliable national distributor for addresses outside of the northwest region. With rising fuel and road costs we simply are not able to offer this service for free, but we only charge you what we’re charged under out delivery agremeent with the distributor; we’ve secured very favourable rate with them too. If you are outside the Northwest area please speak to us about delivery costs before ordering, we may just surprise you with how reasonable we are – even to London & the South East!
For a small fee of £49 you can take delivery of your new furniture outside of the normal Monday to Friday delivery times and have the convenience of weekend delivery. We’ll still remove your old items too!
Removal of old furniture
Yes, we go the extra mile and take away your old furniture for a nominal charge; at least for those in the Northwest. Sorry we’re not able to offer this service nationally just yet. Lefton’s have always maintained a level of social corporate responsibility and have a long standing arrangement with a local charity where your old items will be recycled, renovated and reused by those in need. This project equips people with valuable skills and training learning to renovate furniture as well as benefitting those in need of furniture for their homes. If we can’t renovate the items, well don’t worry, we have a disposal agreement with the local authorities to safely and legally dispose of your old items. Total piece of mind!
Furnishing your second home in Europe and further afield is sometimes difficult and expensive, so we’ve provided you with a solution to this too. Simply shop with us online or in our Blackpool showrooms and tell us where you want your furniture sending and we can arrange international freight transportation at minimal cost for you.
